Comment in question 05-07-2008 15:29 Whilst somewhat off topic, I will combine both these thoughts into this thread. Firstly: VERY interesting to note the plans for Hong Kong 3G, as posted in different thread. Unless I am missing a hell of alot, $35 a month for that kind of usage seems pretty good to me... http://iphone.three.com.hk/website/en/iplan.html Anyone have further insights into the differing names they give their plans/mediums of credit usage? Keeping in mind the exchange rate. Secondly. Oh My Dear God, Optus. I knew from the start, at the very release of Vodafone versus Optus where I would be heading. What a confirmation. Vodafone; I ask of you this. Knock. This. Plan. Dead. Whilst I perfectly understand that this peice of hardware is expensive and the such; that us hopers of something a little more afforadable should learn to live in the real world, I do believe we are not asking for the iPhone to be handed to us free of charge with an astronomically CHEAP payrate, but simply something more reasonable than the total bollocks we see above. We are talking MULTINATIONAL corporations, if Optus is going to be a bastard and take a huge monopoly upon its customers, then I urge Vodafone to offer a plan that gains customers, credibility and has a large range of plans. For example: (Final point, haha) what about people who live in rural areas and cannot acces the 3G areas, whilst we might resort to 2.5, its hardly the same incentive, and thus calls and sms are more important... Happy Medium? Please? Oh... And quickly. Surely VF should have posted by now... IP: 124.149.63.17 Guest |
