It takes a likin and keeps on kickin PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 03 February 2008

One thing to be said about Apple products is that while a little pricey, they are always well built. I know this from experience having dropped my iPod off a third story balcony and it kept on ticking. So it came as no surprise to me when I saw the news about an iPhone that was run over by a semi this morning.

Last week Mike Beauchamp's iPhone went under a semi truck (we hope not intentionally) and to his suprise, the iPhone kept kicking. The solid metal shell seems to have protected the iPhone from the massive force exerted on it. Even the screen stayed intact. The only damage sustained was the breakage and subsequent removal of the black plastic on the back.
