iPhone in Australia with 3G features? PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 09 March 2008

Optus has an Asian telecommunications partner which has hinted that a 3G iPhone may come out to Australia and the Asian region sometime in June 2008 - and yes, perhaps with Optus. The delays at the moment are due to talks with Apple regarding the contract (with either Telstra or Optus) and the 3G features which require much more power consumption than the current iPhone. All of this, but no-one is certain when and where we can see the first official iPhone in Australia.
