Here's the scoop from the internal e-mail sent to Three staff from CEO Dews:
Hi all,
I am very pleased to let you know we are now launching the fantastic new Apple iPhone 3G S to both Vodafone and 3 customers. It's great news for us, and our customers. While our pricing has not yet been announced, you can be sure we will offer very competitive pricing and data packs, giving customers of both brands the great value they deserve.
The features that the iPhone 3G S offer are revolutionary. It has all the great features from the first iPhone, which we currently range through Vodafone, but the new version has a video camera, voice control and more. It's the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet.
Thanks to the teams of people involved in getting this deal across the line for 3. In particular, I'd like to thank the team at St Leonards that have worked tirelessly to ensure that 3 customers can finally get the iPhone – it's been a long journey! Also, thanks to the team at Chatswood who have made the last few weeks much easier. It's a really good example of our new team working together to deliver fantastic products and services to our customers. A real benefit of VHA for our customers.
Please look out for more information on our iPhone 3G S offerings over the next few weeks. Vodafone customers will be able to buy the iPhone 3G S on 26 June and it will be coming to 3 shops and dealers in July.
Regards,
Nigel
